All Communication and Media Federation (TIMEF) contacted with neighbour country embassies to increase media cooperation. Upon the request of Ankara Embassy of Georgia, a delegation consisting of the representatives from local and national media visited Batumi, the capital of autonomous Adjara Region of Georgia. This cultural and touristic visit aimed at promoting Batumi through media and developing the relations between neighbour regions of the two countries. The delegation involved 15 journalists from national media such as but not limited to Hurriyet, TRT, and Aksam as well as the local media of the Black Sea Region. The visit was covered by both Georgian and Turkish Media presenting news about Batumi. The activity also contributed to the development ofclose relationsbetween media in both countries.
