TIMEF has believedinternational cooperation and benefiting from universal examples for addressing the problems of local media, especially the local TV stations. TIMEF used EU funding under “Civil Society Dialogue III Programme to organize local media for their integration to media organizations operating in EU countries. The project titled as “Media Opening from Anatolia to Europe” provided trainings to local media and their employees,also including women and handicapped, on local journalism and media technologies. TIMEF also organized a study visit to Europe for observing the media operations in EU countries under the project. As a result of theextremely effective study visit, the local media organizations gained critical experience.
