Following the access of local TV stations to satellite broadcasting, TIMEF organized another meeting for laying a solid foundation for the future of media outlets as well as facilitating access to international broadcasting technologies at better conditions in a coordinated manner. The meeting was held at Balikesir Edremit Saruhan Hotel for three days. The participating media organizations discussed and learned about new broadcasting technologies, the expansion of broadcasting networks, the benefits of satellite broadcasting, and initiatives for developing local media solidarity at international level during the workshop.
